How does it work without a filter?
PurrFlow uses wastewater separation. Used water, hair and debris drain into a separate waste tank instead of going back into the bowl, and the bowl refills from the clean tank. Nothing gets recycled, so there's nothing to filter.
Is the water constantly flowing?
No, and that's on purpose. Pick a refresh interval on the LED display and PurrFlow drains the old water and refills the bowl with fresh water on its own. That means no constant hum, no gurgling at 3am, and no pump to clean.
How long will it keep my cat covered?
The 3.5L (118oz) clean tank holds several days of fresh water, depending on how much your cat drinks. That makes it great for long workdays, overnight stays, or giving your cat sitter one less thing to worry about.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 180 days on a full charge from the built-in 2000mAh battery, depending on use. The smart panel tells you when it's time to recharge.
How do I clean it?
Every part detaches. When the panel says the waste tank is full, empty it and give the parts a rinse. The 304 stainless steel bowl won't rust and wipes clean in seconds. Tip: when moving it, hold the main unit and both tanks together.
What if my cat is unsure about it?
Totally normal for the first day or two. Tap the water in the bowl so they can see and hear it, and keep their old bowl nearby while they get used to it. Most cats figure it out quickly.
How many cats is it for?
